Annual, 120 cm tall variety, with distinctive blossoms that often reach half the length of the stem. Plant in sheltered, shady flower beds. Grows well in fertile loamy or sandy soil, but does not like acidic soil. During prolonged droughts, provide adequate water as the plants are not drought-resistant. Plant seedlings in flower beds. The colourful flowers are picked for summer bouquets and can last a long time when soaked in water.
